A clinical trial (RCT) conducted at the Sydney Adventist Hospital tested the safety and efficacy of transcranial light therapy in a cohort of 40 idiopathic Parkinson's patients for a period of 12 weeks. Results showed that approximately 70% of the participants responded to active treatment and improved in all sub-score domains (facial, upper-limb, lower-limb, gait and tremor).
